3DSets Skippy: Boat and Trailer Build Kits

Build Kits for the 3DSets Skippy 3D printed RC boat and trailer.  We have various different build kits available including: 

• Fasteners+Bearings Only Kit (Boat, Trailer or Both)
• Fasteners+Bearings/Servo
• Fasteners+Bearings/Servo/Motor+ESC

Kits include all necessary fasteners and bearings for building any version of the boat and trailer according to the designers build guide. 

Each Fasteners+Bearings Kit contains upto 200 metric fastener parts with some extras for every type of screw required. All screws in the 3DSets Skippy Boat and trailer kits are 304 stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance. All screws are metric sizes with hexagonal sockets. Kits that include fasteners for the trailer will also include 5 high speed 10x15x4mm rubber sealed bearings (6700rs) with Z2 precision rating for low noise. Bearings are only included for build kits for the trailer as bearings are not required for the Skippy boat and while only 4 bearings are required we include 5 just in case. The kit comes with all the fasteners required to build either the 1 motor or 2 motor version of the boat.

For kits that include a Servo we also include one 20KG Digital Servo (DS3218) with metal gears that is also waterproof making it a great choice for this application. The servo comes with an aluminum metal servo arm which can be used for the 1 motor version of the Skippy model as well a set of plastic arms which contains one that is perfect for the 2 motor version of the model.

Each kit that includes Motor+ESC will include one C2830 (2212) 1300KV brushless outrunner motor by Surpass Hobby and one 16BL30 30A Brushless ESC by Hobbywing. This is the recommended brushless motor and ESC combination for the Skippy boat by the designer and functions reliably from our testing. You can also choose the kit with 2 Motors and 2 ESCs which will allow you to build the dual motor version of the boat.
